There is a lot going on in the world and we would be completely off the mark if we didn't first recognize that. COVID19 has impacted almost everything that is going on in your life and the same goes with us too.
We want to thank those of you who are risking illness to care for others as essential workers right now. Nurses, doctors, pharmacists, child care workers, caretakers, grocery store workers, delivery drivers, and so many more. What you are doing means so much more than you can ever know. Thank you.
That being said, we do have what would otherwise be incredible news. The Shadow Agency #1 Kickstarter has been approved! This means Kickstarter has accepted the campaign and once we press the button, the Kickstarter will launch. Right now, we are officially in Pre-Launch phase. This means we are going to keep pumping up the message of the story, all before we launch. You can click the "Notify me on launch" button to be notified from Kickstarter when we launch the campaign.
These two paragraphs in any other time would be completely unrelated, but in this pandemic, everything intertwines with COVID19. Our Kickstarter may be ready to launch, but we are not rushing into it, given the circumstances. People should, need, and have to focus on caring for those they love, sheltering in place, and keeping calm. Our communities are being hit hard, but we can fight back together.
What does that mean for you? It means you might wait a bit longer than we hoped for this story. That being said, we're working on some creative solutions on what we can do in the meantime. For starters, we've already started on art for #2 of The Shadow Agency. Here's a glimpse into the art world as the pencil/ink artist Charles passes notes to the colorist Ramon for the initial colors for the cover.
We're really excited for the launch of this Kickstarter. This has been a long time coming and we can't wait for a final product. That being said, we do also have to be aware of what is going on in the world. As things progress, we'll keep you informed as to what's going on with us. We hope you and your family stay safe.
